Carry Smarter, Not Heavier

Most people don’t realize how fast a bad pack setup will wear you down until they actually have to move with it.
It’s not just about what you carry—it’s how the weight sits, how fast you can access your gear, and whether your setup actually works once you’re a few miles in.
That’s where having the right pack for the job makes a difference:
Large rucksacks → built for sustainment, bulk gear, longer duration
Assault packs → lighter, faster, and built for movement and quick access
Trying to force one to do both usually leads to overpacking or wasted space.
I’ve been putting together a selection of surplus rucks and assault packs that are built for real use—not just sitting in a closet. Durable, proven gear that you can actually load out and rely on.
If you’re working on your setup or upgrading what you’ve got, take a look here:👉 USGI MOLLE II Large Rucksack – US Army Military Surplus Field Pack (Used) | Ragnarok Gear
If you’re not sure what direction to go (ruck vs assault pack), message me—I’m happy to help you figure out what actually fits your setup.
